About Carol

Broker Owner of RE/MAX Lakeshore (22 Years Experience). I am a lifelong West Michigan resident and proponent of all things summer! Whether it is enjoying beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, or playing tennis outside -- I love summer in Michigan. I became an owner of RE/MAX Lakeshore in 2007 and have since grown it from a single office of 20 agents to a multi-office company of over 70 agents with offices in Holland, South Haven, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and Zeeland, MI.

Along with RE/MAX Lakeshore, I have been the winner of many Regional and International awards including RE/MAX Hall of Fame (2013), Children’s Miracle Network Office of the Year (2014,2024,2025), Broker/Owner of the Year (2014,2022,2024), The RE/MAX of Michigan Distinguished Service Award (2015), the RE/MAX of Michigan E’Sprit deCorps Award (2017), Lifetime Achievement (2021), New Franchise of the Year (2023), Recruiter of the Year (2022,2023,2024) and Excellence in Technology (2023).

In 2025, I also received the prestigious "Norman W Helm Award" after the founder of RE/MAX of Michigan which is a once in a career award presented to the person who embodies our founder and unquestionably enhanced and advanced the image of RE/MAX, whether through education, sales, cause marketing, promotions, public relations, or customer service.

RE/MAX Lakeshore was voted the Holland Sentinel “Best of the Best Real Estate Company 2021” and honored as one of the Swanepoel Mega 1000 Brokerages since 2018.

I am a graduate of Calvin College and Holland Christian Schools.

My husband and I have seven children, and I love to do yoga, play tennis, golf, pickleball and sit on the beach or by the pool. I love my job! It is a mix of managing, listing, selling, and just having fun! Every day brings something new.
